We're not here to make content. We're here to make a difference.

The Brassy Broadcasting Company works with solo and small professional services providers who are here to make a real impact in the lives of the people they serve.

You didn't start your business to become a "content creator," but you know that strategically created content is how you find clients, build trust and authority, and grow your business.

You have the best intentions of sharing your experience and insight, but you need help in at least one of these areas:

Clarity

I know I need a podcast, but I don’t know where to start.

Consistency

How do I keep this going when my calendar is already full?

Production

I just want to talk. Can you do the rest?

Strategy

How do I make a podcast that actually grows my business?

You do the work that lights you up. I'll be your Creative Director and Production Partner, helping to get your insight and experience out of your head and into the world—without the dance moves.

The Promise.

When we work together, you bring your expertise. I bring the strategy, production, and technical know-how, so you get a show that works as hard for your business as you do.

Meet Jen Edds, Head Broad in Charge

I have the best job in the world. I get to help smart people like you produce podcasts and video content that leave your audience better than you found them—happier, smarter, or not feeling alone in their struggle.

My content approach is built on three pillars:

Simple.  Structured.  Strategic.

As a solo business owner doing "all the things," I understand that time is our most limited resource. That's why I don't overcomplicate content creation. I bring clarity to what you should talk about, structure to how you'll say it, and strategy to ensure it actually moves your business forward.

What shapes my work?

Songwriting and Keynote Performance: I've learned how to engage audiences through songs and stories, and how to set the pace and tone that keeps people listening.

Solo Business Owner: I get it. Every investment needs to deliver ROI. I'm not here to waste your time or money on content that doesn't work.

Producing My Own Podcast: Seven years ago, I started training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to get out of my comfort zone. I'm still awkward and uncomfortable on the mats, but I'm committed to the practice and to building community through my podcast, Beauty and the Gi. Working on my own show sharpens the skills I bring to yours.

What this means for you: I'm actively creating content to educate my audience, build my authority, and grow my business. We probably have similar goals. I bring everything I'm learning to your project.

How we work together.

Our work is a collaboration, not a transaction. If you're looking for someone who just edits files and sends them back, we're probably not the right fit.

I work with clients who want a creative partner—someone who helps them think through their content strategy, structure their message, and produce something they're genuinely proud to share.

But what if video feels overwhelming?

Here's the truth: You don't have to be on camera to have a successful content strategy.

There's a lot of hype out there that "you've got to be doing video," and it just isn't true. Audio is still the primary way people consume podcasts, and can serve as the hub of your content creation. Who says YOU have to be on camera? We can create a video using your voice with visuals.

We'll figure out what works for you, your audience, and your goals.

Let's figure out if a podcast makes sense for your business.

Let's talk about what's possible for your business.
